Setting Dial Up Access For Firewireinternet.com Users Using Windows 98

  • Double click My Computer on the Desktop, then open Dial-Up Networking from the listed folders.
  • Double click the Make New Connection icon

  • In the Welcome to Dial-Up Networking window, click Next 

 

  • In the Make New Connection window, type in firewireinternet for the name of the computer. This actually becomes the name of the connection. 

 

  • Type in 740 for the Area code and 432-1580 for the Telephone number. If Cambridge is not a local call, please call our staff to get you the correct number. Click Next 

 

  • Click Finish.
  • To connect to Firewireinternet, double click the firewireinternet icon

 

  • Enter your Real Time User name and Password. Click Connect
